NAS Corporation was commissioned to manage the air freight of two specialised fire tenders from the United Kingdom to Southern Africa. A licensed airline authorised to transport Dangerous Goods was selected, offering proven experience in handling specialised vehicles. The vehicles were collected from West Yorkshire, transported to London Heathrow, and then transferred via the airline’s trucking network to Amsterdam for uplift to Southern Africa. Throughout the process, NAS maintained oversight of all logistics to ensure precision and reliability.
Outcome:
The operation was completed smoothly and on schedule, with both fire tenders delivered in excellent condition. Following their arrival, the vehicles were deployed successfully and have since become valuable assets supporting emergency services across the region — directly contributing to saving lives and protecting property.
